This photo shows AP-AUR of PIA wearing Libyan Arab Airlines livery in early 1970s. Libyan Arab Airlines, founded in 1965 as the national flag carrier airline of Libya, received support from PIA in various fields including crew training and aircraft maintenance facilities. PIA purchased AP-AUR as brand new aircraft from Fokker Company in 1966 and it was delivered to PIA on April 30, 1966. The aircraft's 38-year long career with PIA came to an end when it was damaged beyond repair in an accident at Chitral Airport on June 16, 2004
